Je Suis Charlie: a Tragedy in France

Stéphane Charbonnier victim and editor of Charlie Hebdo:

I would prefer to die standing than to live on my knees

These are the words that have been echoed after 12 victims were killed by the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo, a French satirical magazine.

Je suis Charlie or I am Charlie” has taken over the Internet in a show of support echoing what many at the magazine believed in with freedom of speech.
